The Heartsine brand
The Heartsine brand originated in the sixties. Professor John Anderson played a key role in this. At the time, he was approached by the Royal Victoria Hospital to develop a mobile defibrillator. This made it possible for the first time to defibrill a patient outside the hospital. To date, this is still one of the greatest achievements. The first real AED was developed in Northern Ireland in 1981. Only in 1991 was the AED brand Heartesine, founded by John Anderson. This is based on the expertise of the previous years. In 2001 the first Heartsine Samaritan AED was developed and from 2004 it was also accessible to the public. The Hartsine 350P is also available as a full automatic.

The Hartsine 350P is a semi -automatic. This means that the person who operates the AED determines when the shock is administered.
