Shipping Policy

SHIPPING INFORMATION

Buyers will be provided with the carrier specific tracking/PRO# information, and when possible, the quantity and dimensions of crates, cartons or pallets. However, a Pre-Shipment Checklist may be required on all freight shipments.

Freight items will ship via Common Carrier/LTL Freight Services. Most freight items ship within 5-10 business days after receipt of cleared payment. Global Imaging USA coordinates daily freight pickups at our main warehouse location. Shipping and Freight costs charged to at the time of invoicing are for standard curbside delivery to commercial U.S. addresses only. The freight fee, invoiced as part of the sale, is for standard delivery to a commercial destination that includes lift gate service with standard delivery service Monday-Friday anytime between 8:00AM – 5:00PM (or as normal for the specific carrier used for your shipment).

Any special requests to a specific day or time, to a residential address or residential area, will increase the cost of the stated shipping fee(s). All ancillary fees, storage fees or redelivery fees charged by the carrier, are the sole responsibility of the buyer. If you have special delivery requirements (i.e. call prior to delivery, delivery appointment needed, restricted access, multi-floor, etc.), please contact us prior to purchase/invoicing/payment, so that any incremental costs, other than standard freight frees, can be added to your invoice. Global Imaging USA is not responsible for ancillary delivery charges due to non-standard and/or special delivery requirements not disclosed prior to the time of the sale.

Global Imaging USA utilizes FedEx Ground, FedEx Freight and also may contract with a third-party logistics company to coordinate freight and installation requirements (where applicable).White Glove Delivery service is an available option (delivered inside your business and unpacked or uncrated). The service is available for an additional fee. Please contact us for more information or a quote.

Buyers should inspect items for damage of crates, cartons or pallets PRIOR to signing the Bill of Lading, provided by the freight carrier upon delivery. Buyers must be sure to reference any shipment or container damage on the Bill of Lading and take photos of any visible damage. This will help assure liability of the freight carrier, should any damage be found, and will assist in the claims process, should a claim need to be filed.

WARRANTY INFORMATION

Some items may be sold with a manufacturer or seller warranty. If an item comes with a warranty, it will be stated in the listing. Manufacturer warranties, if applicable, will be transferred by the buyer and administered by the respective manufacturer of the equipment. Our seller warranty (a non-manufacturer warranty) covers the cost of the replacement of parts only. Our seller warranty does not cover any labor charges incurred by the buyer.
We warrant that equipment purchased from Global Imaging will be covered under parts and labor for a period of Ninety(90) days from the date of confirmed delivery, unless otherwise stated on the sales invoice by a different time period All PC’s and PC components are warrantied for a period of 90-days from date of delivery/install. Imaging or CAD/CAM must be installed by certified, brand specific technicians/firms for the warranty to be effective. GIR can assist in locating a certified installation technician/firm, if necessary. We will work to remedy defects of which the buyer notifies GIR in writing during the Applicable Warranty Period at no charge to the buyer, to the extent such Defects are not the result, in whole or in part, of the willful or negligent act(s)or omission(s)of the buyer, its owners, agents, employees, contractors, or any third party. Such Defects will be repaired or replaced with like or similar products or parts, either new or pre-owned. GI’s sole obligation and the buyer’s exclusive remedy under this warranty will be limited to such repair or replacement.
The buyer waives any and all other or additional rights and remedies, including without limitation, incidental, consequential, special and punitive damages, lost time, lost profits, cost of cover (obtaining replacement equipment and/or performance from another source), and any and all claims arising under consumer protection statutes, without limiting the generality of the foregoing, in no event will Global Imaging USA be liable to the buyer for more than the purchase price for the items paid to and received by Global Imaging USA from the buyer.
While we do work hard to minimize any issues in the field, we are not perfect! Should any arise after delivery/installation, we will either remote in to solve the problem or send a local qualified professional to evaluate and solve.
GI’S SELLER’S WARRANTIES ARE EXPRESSLY SUBJECT TO THE FOLLOWING CONDITIONS:
– Buyer must contact GI to receive a Warranty or Return Authorization number (RMA). GI WILL NOT be liable for any charges incurred by the Buyer for any unauthorized repairs or ordered parts, prior to obtaining an RMA or authorization from GI.
– Buyer must notify GI of any defect(s) you may discover in parts or equipment within 90 days (of confirmed delivery date) and such notice must be made to GI at:
